How much does a full
diagnostic assessment
cost?
The fee for a full diagnostic assessment is £520.
This investment covers the face-to-face appointment, which typically lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours, as well as the preparation of a comprehensive written report.
The report is usually completed within two to three weeks following the session.
Where does the assessment
take place?
The assessment usually takes place at the child’s home.
While it can sometimes be done at school, it is often difficult to find a quiet room for the duration required.
How long does the
assessment last?

We always include regular rest breaks.

How is a lesson
structured?
Our lessons follow a structured, cumulative, and multisensory approach.
We use a consistent routine so your child knows what to expect, incorporating games and short, kinaesthetic activities to keep them engaged.
Every lesson is individualised to suit your child’s specific learning needs.
How long do the lessons
last?
Lessons typically last between 45 minutes and an hour, depending on your child's concentration levels.
We ensure the timing is right to keep them engaged and productive.
Do you teach secondary
school children?
Yes.
We support secondary students with reading fluency, spelling, planning written work, exam revision skills, and learning to use read-aloud software for exams.
How will you communicate
my child's progress?
Your child will have a dedicated notebook for lesson notes and spellings. Alternatively, we can also provide regular updates via email or phone calls to keep you informed.
Will you set homework?
We may provide targeted spellings or learning games to play at home.
These are designed to aid their learning in a fun, low-pressure way.
Should I send you my
child's existing report?
Yes.
If your child already has a dyslexia report, it is very useful for us to see it so we can identify exactly which areas to focus on in our lessons.
